Long-Distance Parking Rescue Mission
I received a call from an elderly relative asking if I had the Parkster app and, if so, whether I could arrange a parking ticket for their car. Even though I’m in Switzerland and they’re in Austria, it was no problem at all. I paid for the ticket and felt really good afterward, it was nice to be able to help so easily.
Left positive sticky notes on every car in the parking garage
Wrote 47 handwritten notes with little messages like 'You matter', 'Have an amazing day', and 'Someone is proud of you'. Left one on every windshield in the garage. I know it's small but maybe someone needed to read that today.
Lakeside cleanup at Mythenquai, let's make it shine!
The lakeside is full of trash after the warm weekend. I'm organizing a group cleanup this Saturday morning. Last time we were 8 people and filled 12 bags in 2 hours. Let's beat that record! All ages welcome, bring your friends. I'll have extra gloves and bags.
Sorted donations at the food bank for 6 hours straight
Our local food bank got a massive delivery and needed hands. Spent my Saturday sorting canned goods, fresh produce, and hygiene items. We packed 200+ family boxes. My back hurts but my heart is full.
